What Are ACEs?

ACEs, or Adverse Childhood Experiences, are a measure of childhood trauma, including experiences like abuse, neglect, and difficult family circumstances. Many of the youth we serve have ACE scores of 4 or higher, with some scoring over 7, indicating a high level of trauma that can impact long-term health and well-being.
